• August 2011. Noise management application. Designed and developed custom application for Sanford Aviation Noise Abatement Committee to record noise complaints and map them using Google Maps (GIS).
• July-August 2011. Exchange upgrade. Upgraded 100 user MS Exchange 2003 organization to Exchange 2010 (virtual server). Configured Backup Exec 2010 for Exchange backup.
• June 2011. Small business consolidation. Consolidated a 3-server small business (Exchange/File &Print/Web) down to a single physical server, virtualized onto Microsoft Hyper-V (2008 R2) with a 7.5 TB filesystem using a Dell R510 (12 hot-swappable bays, 24TB capacity).
• May 2011. PFC application. Developed custom internal-use application to track passenger facility charges (PFCs), resulting in dramatically reduced audit duration.
• March 2011. Wildlife application.Designed and developed custom internal-use application allowing staff to track wildlife complaints and dispositions. Mapped using Google Maps (GIS).
• June-Sept 2010. Network and server upgrades. Virtualized (using VMWare ESXi 4.x) an existing 2-node SQL Server 2005 cluster onto new hardware, while raising Windows 2003 domain to 2008 functional level. Configured and deployed 30+ HP Procurve switches with a 10GBE backbone. Set up HP Procurve Manager software, configured MRTG and Castle Rock SNMPc for management/monitoring.
• April-June 2010. Design an upgrade to a video surveillance network. Develop design and upgrade plan to transition an overtaxed network to 10Gbps service at the core. Selected hardware totalling over $100,000 and developed implementation plan.
• January-March 2010. Dormitory Internet.  Designed a solution to provide dormitory internet access while logging every single TCP/UDP stream to facilitate DMCA copyright violation notifications. Developed a simple web interface to allow a trusted third party to control access, as well as a simple tool to identify the top users and assign responsibility upon notification of a DMCA violation.
